Early Sunday morning (detail)

A continuous row of low storefronts stretches across the image beneath a red upper facade. Windows, doors and shop signs form a repeated horizontal pattern, interrupted by a barber pole and a hydrant. Long shadows move across the pavement, making the empty street feel inhabited by light even though no pedestrians appear.

Early Sunday Morning, painted in 1930, is one of Hopper's sustained studies of urban architecture in oil. This art print reproduces a detail of the considerably wider original canvas. Its red, green and ocher surfaces offer a structured accent for an entryway or living room, where the repeated storefronts can complement shelves and other long, simple lines.

Unframed Rolled Matte Poster: Giclée-printed on 200 g/m² matte poster paper with a smooth, glare-free finish. Supplied unframed and carefully rolled for transit — frame it your own way once it arrives. Frame is not included in the rolled poster price — any frame shown in lifestyle photos is for presentation only.

Stretched Canvas — ready to hang: Printed on a premium cotton/polyester matte canvas, stretched over a sturdy 1.25" pine frame with pre-installed hanging hardware and corner stability dots. No framing needed.

Float Frame Canvas: The stretched canvas sits inside a separate outer wooden frame with a deliberate gap around the edge — the signature floating effect, for a more gallery-luxury presentation. Arrives ready to hang.

Color: Screens reproduce color differently, so the physical print can look slightly different from the listing photos (allow roughly 10% color variation). If your piece looks clearly different from what you ordered, contact us — see our damage & defect policy.
