Office at night (detail)

A woman in blue stands beside a filing cabinet while a man attends to papers at a desk. Furniture, telephone and lamp turn the small office into a closely structured space, with light dividing its surfaces into clear planes. The figures are near one another but focused differently, leaving the relationship between them unresolved.

Office at Night, painted in 1940, shows Hopper building a narrative through placement, direction and selective illumination. This art print presents a cropped detail of the oil painting, keeping the principal figures and office furnishings in view. Its controlled blue, brown and pale green palette suits a workspace, where it introduces a reflective scene rather than an overtly decorative motif.

Unframed Rolled Matte Poster: Giclée-printed on 200 g/m² matte poster paper with a smooth, glare-free finish. Supplied unframed and carefully rolled for transit — frame it your own way once it arrives. Frame is not included in the rolled poster price — any frame shown in lifestyle photos is for presentation only.

Stretched Canvas — ready to hang: Printed on a premium cotton/polyester matte canvas, stretched over a sturdy 1.25" pine frame with pre-installed hanging hardware and corner stability dots. No framing needed.

Float Frame Canvas: The stretched canvas sits inside a separate outer wooden frame with a deliberate gap around the edge — the signature floating effect, for a more gallery-luxury presentation. Arrives ready to hang.
