Sleeping Wizard on a Gothic Throne

An old man with a long silver beard and flowing white hair sits asleep on a carved wooden throne, hands folded in his lap. He wears a dark green velvet robe and a jeweled cap, and gothic arches rise behind him.

Warm candlelight, deep browns and soft golds give the portrait the feel of an old master painting. The calm, sleeping pose adds a gentle, storybook charm to the dark setting.

This old wizard portrait suits a home library, a study, a reading nook or a fantasy-themed bedroom. It pairs well with dark wood, leather and brass candle holders. Choose the size that fits your wall, from a small accent piece to a large statement format. It is available as a poster, ready-to-hang canvas or float-framed canvas. Posters come on matte, glossy or fine art paper, and the canvas comes ready to hang or in a float frame in natural wood, black, white or espresso. Every piece is made to order.

Unframed Rolled Matte Poster: Giclée-printed on 200 g/m² matte poster paper with a smooth, glare-free finish. Supplied unframed and carefully rolled for transit — frame it your own way once it arrives. Frame is not included in the rolled poster price — any frame shown in lifestyle photos is for presentation only.

Stretched Canvas — ready to hang: Printed on a premium cotton/polyester matte canvas, stretched over a sturdy 1.25" pine frame with pre-installed hanging hardware and corner stability dots. No framing needed.

Float Frame Canvas: The stretched canvas sits inside a separate outer wooden frame with a deliberate gap around the edge — the signature floating effect, for a more gallery-luxury presentation. Arrives ready to hang.

Color: Screens reproduce color differently, so the physical print can look slightly different from the listing photos (allow roughly 10% color variation). If your piece looks clearly different from what you ordered, contact us — see our damage & defect policy.

Order cancellations: You can cancel any order within 24 hours of purchase by emailing info@artefarstudio.com with your order number. After that your piece may already be in production, so please check the artwork, format, size, frame option and shipping address before ordering. Any right of withdrawal you have under the consumer law of your country is not affected — see our Returns & Refund Policy.

If your order arrives with shipping damage or a production defect, email info@artefarstudio.com. Photos of the front, the back and sides, the damaged area, the packaging and the shipping label help us resolve it quickly, and keeping the packaging until the issue is settled helps with any carrier claim — they are not a condition for your rights.

We will offer to produce and send a brand-new replacement at no cost to you. Where the consumer law of your country allows it, you may instead choose a refund, a price reduction or a free repair. Your statutory rights are not affected.
